ABOUT ME
Sophia Michalopoulou
Remembering More of Who I am
I live on the island of Corfu in Greece because this is where I feel the happiest though my scope is global. I've been working on embodying more of who I am for many years while inspiring and supporting others to do the same.
As a pregnancy and birth doula I currently support future parents prepare for conception, pregnancy and birth so that they can welcome their babies physically, emotionally and spiritually with presence and awareness in these urgent times.
As an aquatic perinatal therapist and a certified infant and baby swimming instructor, I also work with people of all ages, skills and abilities both on land and in water to integrate their birth experiences and 'memories' stored in their bodies to restore a deep sense of trust in life and in themselves.
MY APPROACH
From a Baby's Point of View
I work with babies and children both on land and in water to help them integrate their birth experiences, to feel safe and comfortable with living life in a physical body.
By witnessing their unique gifts and abilities and how their birth stories show up, I am able to facilitate and communicate a deeper understanding and appreciation of their needs to their parents and families so that together they can thrive and shine new ways forth.
